We are sorry but the PM PrepCast does NOT qualify for PDUs. It can only be used for 35 Contact Hours (before the exam) but not for 35 PDUs (after the exam) for your re-certification cycle.
This is because The PM PrepCast is designed to help you prepare for the PMP Exam. In other words, it teaches you the basic concepts that you need to know and understand to pass the PMP exam. It is "the basic stuff". Once you are PMP certified your education has to continue and your training should focus on advancing your knowledge and not on standing still and re-hashing the same information you needed to pass the exam.

These are just 4 basic ideas for earning PDUs. For more detailed information about PDUs and what else you can do, please take a look at The PMP Credential Handbook. Starting on page 33 you will see infos about PDUs. You can access the handbook by clicking on the following link: http://www.pmi.org/en/Certification/~/media/PDF/Certifications/pdc_... (PDF document).
