This article shows you how to report/claim 35 contact hours you obtain to sit for the certification
Overview
Once you have completed the Final Exam, then you have earned 35 Contact Hours for participating in The PM PrepCast™. Now, you can apply for your Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam.
In your exam application, you will be asked to give evidence that you have indeed received the Contact Hours required. The PMI does not ask for a course number or claim code. To report education to sit for the certification:
- Log in to PMI.org
- Click on the myPMI
- Click Dashboard
- Select Certifications and follow the prompts
- In the Professional Education section (see screenshot), enter the information in the table below.
- Click the Save Education button to save your information.

This is all the information that you need to provide on your application. You do not need to include a copy of your certificate.
