In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps of using the marketing banners provided through your affiliate account. By placing these banners on your website, you can promote our offerings and track their performance effectively.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Log into Your Account:
  2. Navigate to Your Account:
    • Once logged in, go to the "My Account" section.
    • On the left-hand side, find the Promo Data link to access the marketing banners.
  3. Select Your Banners:
    • You'll see banners for various products available for promotion:
    • Each banner will be listed with its size specifications (e.g., 728x90 pixels for a leaderboard banner or 300x600 pixels for a larger ad).
  4. Choose the Right Banner:
    Click on the banner you wish to use. You can right-click and open the image in a new tab to confirm its dimensions.
  5. Copy the HTML Code:
    Press the Copy button next to the banner.
    The HTML code for the banner will be copied to your clipboard. This code can be directly pasted into your website.
  6. Insert the Code into Your Website:
    Open your website's backend and paste the HTML code where you want the banner to appear. You may need to adjust the placement depending on your website platform.
  7. Track Your Banner's Performance:
    For better tracking, adjust the “referring service” keyword in the code.
    For example, change the referring_service banner to something like referring_service=banner_newsletter_signup if the banner is placed on your newsletter signup page.
    This will allow you to track clicks from the specific source of traffic and better understand how each placement performs.
  8. Review Your Affiliate Dashboard:
    Once the banner is live, check your affiliate dashboard to monitor the clicks and performance metrics tied to that specific banner placement.

Additional Tips:

  • Placement Variety: Consider placing banners on different pages of your website for optimal exposure.
  • Granular Tracking: The more specific you are with your keyword (e.g., referring_service=banner_about_us_page), the easier it will be to track and analyze traffic sources.
  • Banner Sizes: Pay attention to the banner size and placement to ensure they fit properly on your website’s layout.
