One-click affiliate links make it easy for your customers to add a product to their cart with an automatic discount while ensuring you receive credit for the referral. Follow the steps below to generate and use these links effectively.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Locate the Discount Link in the Affiliate Newsletter:
   
   • Each month, we send out a newsletter containing the upcoming month’s discount link.
   • Important: Do NOT simply right-click the link and select “Copy Link.” This would copy the newsletter’s tracking URL, not the clean coupon link.
2. Copy the Clean Coupon Link:
   • Highlight the discount link text in the newsletter and copy it (e.g., Ctrl+C or Command+C).
   • Paste the link into a text editor (like Notepad).
   • Remove any extra text or parameters so you’re left with the clean, plain coupon link (e.g., https://...coupon=feb2025).
3. Access Your Affiliate Account:
   • Log in to your PM Store Affiliate Dashboard.
   • Go to Promo Data on the left-hand side, where you can create a referral link from any store URL.
4. Generate Your Affiliate Link:
   • In the Promo Data page, paste your clean coupon link into the provided field.
   • The system will automatically generate your complete one-click affiliate link.
   • Copy the new link to your text editor.
5. Customize Your Tracking Parameter:
   • Within the generated link, look for the section that includes referral=... or tracking=....
   • Replace the default text (e.g., link) with something more descriptive, like feb_pmp_coupon or march_ai_coupon.
   • This helps you track which link brought the sale.
6. Test Your One-Click Link:
   • Open a new incognito/private browser window.
   • Paste in your new affiliate link and ensure it loads properly.
   • You should see the product added to the cart, and any applicable discount will appear on the checkout page.
7. Timing of Discounts:
   • If the coupon is scheduled to be active in the future, you may see a message indicating it’s applied, but the actual discount will not appear until the coupon’s start date.
   • Rest assured, once the date is reached, the coupon will be fully functional.
8. Share Your Link and Earn Commission:
   • Post or send your one-click affiliate link to your audience.
   • Any completed purchases from that link will automatically credit you with the appropriate affiliate commission.

Additional Tips:

• Plan Ahead: We typically send next month’s coupon in the current month’s newsletter. The coupon goes live on the first of that upcoming month.
• Keep Track: Using descriptive tracking labels will help you analyze performance if you create multiple links for different promotions or landing pages.
• Double-Check Link Cleanliness: Always ensure the link you generate doesn’t contain any unwanted newsletter email tracking parameters.
