You can take exams and quizzes multiple times on The PM Exam Simulator™. Learn more about the unlimited repeats feature of the PM Exam Simulator.
However, remember that on the real PMI exam, you only have one chance. To gauge your readiness for the exam, we recommend that you look at how well you do when seeing a question for the first time. So if you score 30% correct on your first attempt and then you score 90% correct on the same exam on your next attempt, then you should measure yourself based on the first try. The reason being is that you are likely to answer some of the questions on your second attempt based on your memory from the first attempt rather than your actual knowledge.
- For example, for The PM Exam Simulator™ for the PMP, our rule of thumb is as follows: if you consistently answer 70% of questions that you have never seen before correctly, you can consider yourself ready for the exam. This 70% rule is, of course, only a generalization. Everyone is different and there is no guarantee that a score of over 70% will ensure that you pass the actual Project Management Professional (PMP)®.
