https://www.project-management-prepcast.com/pmpoutline
8. What edition of the PMBOK® Guide is the PM Exam Simulator based on?
The PM Exam Simulator for the PMP exam is not based on any edition of the PMBOK® Guide. Rather, the PMP exam (like any other PMI certification exam) is based on the Examination Content Outline (ECO). While the PMBOK® Guide is an important source of preparation for the exam, it's only one of the ten reference books that PMI uses to support their questions. Up until November 18, 2021, the 6th Edition of the PMBOK® Guide served as a reference for the exam. Starting November 19, 2021, PMBOK® Guide - 7th Edition is a reference to inform the development of the new exam questions. That, however, does not mean that the 6th Edition will become obsolete. The 6th Edition remains relevant, as clarified in the 7th Edition, "It [the 7th Edition] recognizes that there is continued value for some stakeholders in the structure and content of previous editions and enhances the content in this edition without negating that value." For more information, please vising the PMI website at:
Additional information about how we use the various editions of the PMBOK® Guide to develop the questions in The PM Exam Simulator can be found here:
9. What dialect of Spanish was used in your translation of the PM Exam Simulator?
The PMBOK® Guide is translated into Latin American Spanish. The PM Exam Simulator translation follows the same convention.

11. Can I use the Exam Simulator on my mobile device?
With an active internet connection, The PM Exam Simulator™ can be used on any modern mobile device anytime and anywhere. However, the goal of The PM Exam Simulator™ is to simulate the actual exam so that you can practice in an environment that is as close to the actual exam experience as possible.
On the day of your exam, you will be required to sit at a desk in the testing center (or online in your home, if available) using a desktop computer. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you use The PM Exam Simulator™ only on your laptop/desktop computer to get used to doing it "the right way".
