As you prepare for the exam, taking short quizzes along the way can be a valuable tool for reinforcing your understanding. Quizzes help you identify areas that need more focus, familiarize you with the style of exam questions in each domain, and maintain motivation as you progress.

Using the PMP® Exam Simulator: Step-by-Step

1. Access the Quiz Menu
   From the main menu of the Exam Simulator, click on the Timed & Learning Quizzes link.
2. Choose a Quiz Mode
   
   • Timed Mode: A timer is active, and answers with explanations are revealed only after completing the quiz.
   • Learning Mode: Hints and explanations are available as you go through each question.
3. Select the Number of Questions
   Start with a manageable number—10 or 20 questions is ideal for most students early on.
4. Choose Quiz Criteria
   You can select:
   • A Knowledge Area (e.g., Scope Management)
   • A Domain (e.g., People, Process, Business Environment)
   • Or leave it as Random to assess your general understanding.
5. Include Questions
   The default setting is to include only unanswered questions. As you progress, you can choose to review previously answered or marked questions.
   Note: A question is considered “answered” only if you selected and submitted a final answer. Using strikethroughs or marking a question without answering it does not count as answered. To be considered answered, all choices in a drag-and-drop question must be paired. Leaving any choice unpaired will leave the question unanswered.
6. Include Exam Questions?
   The PMP Exam Simulator pulls questions from two separate databases:
   • Quiz Pool (used for quizzes)
   • Exam Pool (used for full-length exams)
   By default, the option to include Exam Questions is set to No. Keeping it this way ensures you won’t encounter quiz questions in your later full-length practice exams (Exam 1–4).
7. Click Start
   Begin your quiz and make the most of the feedback provided to guide your review.

• Start with the “.00” Lessons: Watch all lessons labeled “.00” (e.g., L01.00, L02.00, L03.00, etc.), as they lay the groundwork for the remainder of the course
