Where are the Free Exams and Quizzes?
In the video, Cornelius introduces the Premium Exam Simulator. It is nearly identical to the free version. The only real difference is where you have to click to start a quiz or exam. Here it is:

Getting Started [00:00]
Hello, and thank you so much for choosing The PM Exam Simulator. This Simulator offers the most realistic exam sample questions for your Project Management Professional (PMP)®, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®, or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam.
My name is Cornelius Fichtner, and in this short tutorial, I’ll show you how to log in, how to start a short quiz, and how to start a full exam, plus how to review your simulation results in order to improve and pass your exam.
Welcome Email [00:32]
After your purchase, you will have received an email similar to this one here. If this is a new account, then it includes your username and password. To log in, simply go to the Login page and use the username and password provided.
The username & password won’t be included if you already had an account in our system previously. If you don’t remember your password, go ahead and click on Forgot Password or Forgot Username in order to reset it.
Login Page [01:02]
Let’s login. I have the login page opened here in a separate tab, and I’ll be using my demo user here to get us started.
Welcome Page [00:53]
After you have successfully logged in, you will see our welcome page. And on the lefthand side, you now see all the training materials that you have access to.
For this tutorial, I will be using the PMP Exam Simulator, but the features are nearly identical for ACP or CAPM. Therefore, I am going to click here to start the PMP Exam Simulator and get to the main page.
Timed & Learning Quizzes [01:42]
And before I do anything else, let me point out what most of our students consider to be the most important and extremely useful feature of the Simulator, and that’s this section “Timed & Learning Quizzes” here. The closer you get to the actual exam, the more you are going to want to focus on taking full-length exams in this section down here.
But right now, as you are starting out and you are going through your study materials, you may want to focus on a specific area. For example, Stakeholder Engagement, Planning, or Integration. And that’s what the quizzes are for --- the ability to focus.
Start Course [02:27]
So let’s start a quiz. There we go.
The selection criteria are different for each exam type. But here, you can narrow down your selection and choose exactly what it is that you would like to be included. Once you have made your selection, click on “Start,” and then, if this is the first time that you are starting a quiz or an exam, the simulator will make you aware that this is the moment to acknowledge that this is the moment when your access countdown will start. I am now going to acknowledge that I understand this and that I want to activate it.
And we can get going with the exam.
And now, it’s as easy as reading the questions, reading and choosing the available answer choices, and clicking on “Next” and simply repeating that until you are done with all 20 questions that I have selected.
In this tutorial, I am not going to explain all the various buttons that we have on the screen here during this tutorial, but I will point out at the end where you can find more in-depth tutorials that tell you exactly what all of these are for.
I’m going to answer one more question here. And now, I’m going to click on the “End Exam” button and “Yes, I want to end the exam,” even though I haven’t answered all 20 questions yet.
Exam Report [04:04]
Now, I see the exam report. And at this point, I would like to point out this item right here, where we can see that I have spent only 52 seconds in this demo quiz right now, but you would likely have spent closer to half an hour answering these 20 questions.
Our recommendation is this: once you get to the exam report here, you want to spend at least the same amount of time reviewing your results. So if you spent 20 minutes in taking the exam, you want to spend at least 20 minutes now reviewing and learning from your mistakes.
For this, scroll down to the exam details, where you can see that out of the 4 questions that I answered, I have one correct and three incorrect. In order to get to the details and learn from your mistakes, click on the question number button here in front, and now you can delve into the details. The question is repeated here at the top. In green, highlighted is the correct answer, and here is the answer that I have selected, "C," which is incorrect.
Now, scroll down. Here is a general explanation of the question .. why "B" is correct and not "C", but we have more details down here as well. This is a per-choice explanation. This explains exactly why "B" is correct and why "C" is incorrect.
And like this, I can now make my way through the questions. We even have references down here. You can see the Agile Practice Guide, User Stories Applied. I can open up these reference books and see why I may have chosen "C" over the correct answer "B". I can now click on next, and I get to the next question. And here, I can repeat the process.
You can imagine that sometimes, you can spend a lot of time reading and reviewing the questions and answers that you have answered incorrectly.
At this point, let me go back to the main screen here of the Exam Simulator.
Taking the Exam [06:20]
Once you are comfortable with the materials that you have to study, you may want to move on to taking an actual full-length exam. We are going to start “Exam 1” here. It opens up once again in a new window. And then we get started here on the right-hand side.
And from here on, it's pretty much the same thing, read the question, select the answer, click Next and continue doing that until you have answered all 180 questions here for which you have roughly 252 minutes time. That time, by the way, includes two 10-minute breaks that you can take at any time during this. Obviously, if you are preparing for the ACP or the CAPM Exam, then the time available for the number of questions is different.
And that’s it for our quick overview.
Other Resources [07:16]
As I had promised earlier, I also want to show you quickly where you can find more in-depth tutorials. Click here on the Simulator main page on the help button (the question mark here on the left-hand side). This takes you to our tutorials page, where I suggest you can watch this tutorial on the right called “Navigation Part 3: Using the Exam Simulator.”
And if you still have questions, then here at the bottom right here, we have the “Support” box, where you can type in your question. Let’s take a look and see what we have for “Simulator” and if you do not find an answer to your question, then go ahead & leave us a message. We’re here to help.
Closing [08:04]
Thank you very much again for being a customer. Until next time.
